Fire Safety Surveys & Equipment

Fire Extinguishers, Alarms & Smoke Detectors, Emergency Lighting

A Team of Expert Fire Safety Technicians

SWL Fire Protection started as a supplementary service because of demand from our clients. By 2014 this service had grown into a fully fledged stand-alone business, with a team of expert fire safety technicians serving the Highlands and Islands.

As avid proponents and supporters of safety legislation and regulation in all spheres, it seemed to be a natural progression that SWL would branch out from its core business of supplying lifting equipment & services to specialise in the critically important area of fire safety too.

Our focus is on the provision of fire safety equipment and surveys for a wide range of businesses, industries, rental properties and organisations in Scotland, working from our base in Invergordon.

All work is carried out by our qualified, experienced technicians who are competent to carry out fire safety inspections as well as test and certify fire safety equipment.

As trained and approved members of The British Fire Consortium we can provide expert fire safety consultations and fire-fighting equipment of a high standard.

Our main Fire Safety Services include:

  • Supply and Installation of fire extinguishers
  • Fitting fire detectors and smoke alarms

  • Servicing and Maintenance of fire extinguishers

Fire Extinguishers & Alarms

As we all know, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors have saved lives. This is why Scotland has strict regulations that require all homes to be fitted with interlinked fire alarms.

SWL Fire Protection is therefore considerably pleased to have been accredited as “Expert Installers” by Aico, a market-leading brand of alarms and detectors which comply with Government regulations.

Our technicians are also extremely knowledgeable about fire extinguishers – not only how they work, but how and where they can best be installed in your promises to be used to best effect in the event of a fire. It’s also our job to know which type of fire extinguisher you need that will be appropriate to your circumstances and fire risk, and we can offer you a service contract to make sure your fire extinguishers are in tip-top condition if you need to use them.

We take our role in providing fire safety for our clients extremely seriously, making sure your property is as safe as possible and complies with regulations.
